Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Tier One Handyman Services.

By scheduling a service, submitting a request, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both you (the client) and Tier One Handyman Services. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided
Tier One Handyman Services offers general handyman services including but not limited to minor home repairs, installations, maintenance, furniture assembly, and property upkeep. We reserve the right to decline any service request that falls outside our scope of expertise or presents a safety concern.

2. Estimates and Pricing
All pricing is provided either by estimate or based on an hourly rate. Estimates are based on the information provided by the client and are subject to change if additional work is required. Any significant changes in scope will be communicated and approved before work continues.

3. Appointments and Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled in advance and confirmed by phone, text, or email. We strive to arrive within the scheduled time window, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible.

4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, checks, and electronic payments. A service fee may apply to bounced checks or late payments.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the project.

  • Ensuring access to the property at the scheduled time.

  • Securing pets and valuables during service hours.

  • Tier One Handyman Services is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible work areas or uncommunicated conditions.

7. Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand by our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of service provided, please contact us within 7 days of the service date, and we will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue. This does not include damage caused by misuse, negligence, or issues outside of our original scope of work.

8. Liability
Tier One Handyman Services is insured and takes care to prevent damage while working. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing conditions or structural issues.

  • Problems arising from products or materials provided by the client.

  • Incidental or consequential damages beyond the scope of the work performed.

9. Materials
Unless otherwise agreed, clients are responsible for the cost of materials. We can source materials for an additional fee, which includes time, travel, and handling.

10. Photos & Marketing
We may take before-and-after photos of completed work for our portfolio, website, or social media. No personal information or identifiable property details will be shared. Please let us know in advance if you prefer not to have photos taken.

​

11. Changes to Terms
Tier One Handyman Services reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
